Who We Are
Located near the intersection of White Lake Drive and Mears Avenue in Whitehall, Michigan, the library issues free library cards to all residents living within the boundaries of Whitehall District Schools. Library cards are available for a small fee to those living outside the district.
The library holds more than 41,000 items in many formats, including books, movies, magazines, music CDs, audio books, e-books, and e-audio books. Through the library's shared catalog, nearly 4 million items are available at 41 Lakeland Library Cooperative member libraries.
In addition to circulating items, the library also provides many other services. Hundreds of people each day visit the library to utilize print and electronic reference resources, access the Internet through the library’s high speed connection, enjoy free WiFi service, or take part in one of the library’s many events for children and adults.
Our friendly and professional staff is eager to serve you - stop in anytime!
